Grillers have left the garden!

compass pictureThis year, the nation’s dedicated grillers are going on Safari.

Up and down the country, barbecuers are taking a grill on the wild side and are venturing out of the back garden and into the great outdoors. It looks like BBQs are the new picnic, burgers are the new baguette and kebabs the new quiche!

In recognition of this new-found lust for outward-bound grilling, Quality Standard beef and lamb are on hand to help. We have created the definitive Grillers Safari Guide, a one-stop guide on how to get out and about with your BBQ this summer. It includes recipe ideas, health and safety advice, tips on how to prepare for your day in the wild, plus fun activity suggestions to enjoy once your feast has finished. Don’t forget to check out our Grill-locations Guide for country-wide advice on where you can BBQ this summer.

So, this year, take full advantage of the summer weather and tune in to your adventurous side for a barbecue day out full of flavour.

Ben Fogle

Adventurer and TV presenter Ben Fogle said "the Grillers Safari Campaign combines two of my greatest pleasures; enjoying the great outdoors and eating quality food. I want to encourage people to unleash their inner adventurer and take their barbecues out on the road this summer. With so much beautiful scenery on your own doorstep you don't need to travel to the Antarctic or row across the Atlantic for adventurous alfresco meals."
